The Symphony Orchestra of New York,
New York City.
Dear Sir:-
With reference to your letter of 24th ultimo to Mr. Edison, I beg to inform you that Mrs. Edison will subscribe for the series of concerts which your Orchestra proposes to give in Orange during the coming winter, provided a sufficient number of advance subscriptions are received.
At Mrs. Edison’s request I give you the following names of friends of hers, in Orange, all of whom would be likely to subscribe to the concerts:
Mrs. Hill.
Mrs. Blakeman
Miss Heald.
Treating that you will receive the necessary number of subscriptions
