Oct. 3, 1891.
My dear Kreusi,
This letter will be handed to you by “Rubs” Hepworth, the blacksmith, whom you know, and who has been employed at any Works here for the past four years, previous to which he was with you at Schenectady, in charge of the Blacksmith’s Shop. He has had some trouble with the Superintendent of the Phonograph Works, with whom cannot get along, and has had to get out. Rube is a first class man and has been with me a long time, and I have thought that possibly you can give him a position as Foreman in his line of work at Schenectady. As you know he is quite competent to fill a place of that kind, and he will work in no other capacity. If you can provide a place for Rube, please do so, and oblige
Yours very truly,
Thos A. Edison
John Kreuai, Esq., Gen’l. Manager,
Edison General Electric Company,
Schenectady, N. Y.
