Dear Sir:-
Mr. Edison has received your letter of 9th instant, and he has made the following note upon it:
“Why should not a slack conveyor belt run without guides? This is something new to Mr. Edison.”
He has also received your letter of 13th instant, upon which he has made the following note:
“Why can’t you crown driving belt pulley more? It’s only a question of enough crowning. Edison.
