Tate Esq 42 Broad Street New York Dear Sir:- Referring to your favor of the 28th inst I beg to state that we have rendered bills against the New York Concentrating Works for Experiments re amounting to $2987.89 and we have also paid two calls for stock amounting to $15900.00/100 These two amounts were given you to see if you could get some cash for the $2987.89/100 and stock for $15900.00/100 Yours truly, John F. Tate Esq 42 Broad Street New York Dear Sir:- I beg to acknowledge receipt of your favor of the 29th inst regarding two bills standing to the credit of the Edison General Electric Co. Schenectady Works, one for $22.66/100 and the others for $30.74/100, and beg to state that we received in the same mail a credit from Schenectady for the above and stating that they were cancelled by request of Mr. Insull. I have also noted your remarks regarding the 59 cells due Mr. Edison from the Edison General Elec Co., Thanking you very much for same I remain Yours truly J.F. Randolph
