Mar 14-1892 Mrs. Mary J. Gill 41 Rise Street Newark N.J. Madam Mr. Edison came to Orange on Saturday night and spent Sunday at his home and he goes away again some time today. I beg to inform you that I showed him the letter which you sent me and after reading same I am very sorry to say that he told me he would do nothing more as he has done his share. Yours truly John F. Randolph Mar 11th 1892 A.O. Tate Esq. 42 Broad Street New York Dear Sir On the Edison General Electric Co. statement dated Jan 30-1892 there is an entry dated Jan 12-1892 where they have collected an account of the Edison Mfg Co. for $3.00 and placed same to Mr. Edison’s credit. It was collected from the Schenectady Works on Pay Warrant No 974. Will you please find out for me what bills this Pay Warrant pays and oblige Yours truly J.F. Randolph
