Mr. C. A. Johnson,
P. O. Box 256,
Birmingham Ala.
Dear Sir:-
Your letter of 15th instant in regard to Mr. Edison’s Ore Milling process, was duly received. In reply I beg to inform you that the Company which controls Mr. Edison’s Magnetic Ore Separators manufactures them for its own use only. The machines are, of course, only applicable to magnetic ores. Mineral properties are leased or purchased and worked by the Company itself. The Peeksill plant to which you refer will be in operation, it is expected, in about two years’ time; the Company is about to commence the construction of a railroad there. Thanking you for your letter
I am, yours very truly,
A. O. Tate
Private Secretary.
