Dear Sir:-
Your letter of 20th instant, enclosing note of introduction from Grosvner P. Lowrey, Esq., was duly received and forwarded to Mr. Edison, who is at present absent from home. I have received instructions from him by mail to inform you that he is thinking of spending the winter in Florida and is not therefore desirous of renting his Ft. Myers cottage.
