Dear Sir:-
I have your letter of 26th instant in regard to the packing of musical records, and Walter Miller will carry out your suggestion relative to packing some of the cylinders in cotton batting. Walter proposes to pack in the manner named half of each shipment of 50 or more records that we may make during the next month or so, and to send the other half in the pasteboard boxes that we are now using. I can then ask the Companies to which the shipments are made to inform us how the cylinders were rec’d., and which of them were in the best condition. This should enable us to determine which of the two methods of packing is the best for our purpose.
Yours truly,
Thomas Maguire
