Thomas B. Connery, Esq.,
Llewellyn Park, N. J.
Dear Sir:-
At Mr. Edison’s request I forward to you the enclosed copy of a letter received by him from Mr. John Kreusi, with relation to the four young men from South America, whom your friend [illegible] desired admitted to the Schenectady Works. Mr. Edison regrets that it is impracticable to gratify Mr. Paredes’s wishes with respect to these young men owing to the present crowded condition of the Works. He suggests that application be made to the Thomson-Houston people; or what would be [as?] good, have the young men take the [electrices?] course at Cornell University.
Yours very truly,
A. O. Tate
Private Secretary.
