COPY. B. Schenectady, N. Y., Oct. 27th, 91. My dear Mr. Edison:- I have your letter of the 12th instant, and in reply would say that unless you are particularly anxious that we should comply with the request of Mr. Connery, I must decline to take three or four of these young men. We have already over fifty here now, which is really more than we have room for. I will, however, place all or any of them, if you so desire. I return you Mr. Connery’s letter of the 12th, herewith.
