Dear Sir:-
I beg to refer to you the enclosed letter which was received at the Laboratory this morning from Frank Curtiss, Esq., President of The Sixth Avenue Railroad Company, New York City. You will notice that Mr. Curtiss has a letter of introduction to Mr. Edison and is anxious to see the latter’s method of electric propulsion of cars, having in view its adoption on the Sixth Avenue road.
