Nov. 27, 1891.
W. S. Mallory. Esq.,
No. 7 West Randolph Street,
Chicago Illinois.
My dear Mr. Mallory,-
With reference to your letter of 21st instant, Mr. Edison informs me he told you your father that in his (Mr. Edison’s) opinion you ought to have been at Ogden then. He says that had you been during the last month you would have learned the art; that it is now rather late for you to come, as the difficulties are nearly all removed; still he advises your visiting Ogden and staying there six weeks, Mr. Edison and Mr. Batchelor are both now at the mine.
Yours very truly,
A. O. Tate
Private Secretary.
