January 4, 1892.
F.S. Gorton, Esq.,
The Chicago Edison Company,
Chicago, Illinois.
Dear Sir:-
Mr. Edison has received your letter of 30th ultimo, with enclosure as stated, and also your letter of 31st ultimo. He says that you are inclined to act too hastily. Mr. Edison wants to be sure of the 200 volt lamp before taking any action. He has ten of these on test now and so far they are O.K. A few more days and Mr. Edison will be able to determine as to the lamp.
Yours Truly,
A. O. Tate
Private Secretary.
