Philip S. Dyer, Esq.,
No. 34 Victoria St., Westminster,
London,
England.
Dear Sir:-
Mr. Edison has asked me to thank you for your favor of 7th ultimo, enclosing a report on Magnetic Iron Ore written by Mr. T. Forster Brown, and which Mr. M. L. [Ezan?] Thomas requested you to forward to Mr. Edison. The latter read this document with much interest and he is much obliged to yourself and Mr. Thomas for sending it to him.
He expects soon to be able to forward to you a commercial report on the mine at Ogden. Mr. Edison thinks that plenty of money could be made in concentrating some of the ores mentioned in Mr. Brown’s report, provided that the freight rates are favorable.
Yours very truly,
A. O. Tate
