Dear Sir:- 
I enclose herewith power of attorney for Cape Colony and seven assignments of invention for British India, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Queensland, Tasmania and New Zealand, respectfully, for [Case?] 96, which were forwarded to Mr. Edison for his signature by Messrs. Seligman & Seligman, in behalf of the Edison United Phonograph Company. Mr. Edison has executed those documents, but before delivering them to Messrs. Seligman and Seligman he desired them submitted to yourself for approval. If the papers are all right please have them forwarded to Messrs. Seligman & Seligman, No. 15 Broad St., New York, together with the accompanying letter addressed to that firm. 
Enclosed herewith are also two assignments dated December 14th, 1891 (1) G. G. M. Hardingham to Thos. A. Edison, and (2) George E. Gouraud to Thomas A. Edison, of British Patents in connection with dolls etc. These assignments were received from [illegible text] by Messrs. Seligman & Seligman, with instructions to deliver them to Mr. Edison. The latter wishes you to examine these documents and see if they secure to him all the rights to which he is entitled in the premises.
