Dear Sir:-
We are very much obliged for your letter of 28th ult., in regard to the Paget Wire Gayze Commutator Brush Patent, No. 452, 327. We are familiar with your investigations made on behalf of the Edison General Electric Company. We have no reason to suppose that the brushes in use on the phonograph motor infringing this patent. In fact, we are convinced that they do not, and we have not the slightest intention of recognizing Mr. Kintner’s claim in any way whatsoever, which fact we believe is clearly indicated in our correspondence with that gentleman, copy of which was submitted to you with our letter of 27th ultimo.
Yours truly,
