[Siward?] D. Easton, Esq.,
Columbia Phonograph Co.,
Washington, D. C.
Dear Sir:-
Your will recollect that Mr. Edison, at your request, loaned you two sensitive reproducers and arms, for use at the meeting of the Ecumenical Council, which was held in Washington a few months ago. He would be much obliged if you would kindly return to him the said articles. We are in need of them at the present time, and for that reason would ask you to give the matter of their return your prompt attention.
Yours very truly,
A. O. Tate
Private Secretary,
M.
