Feb. 20, 1892.
A. O. Tate, Esq.,
Edison Building,
Broad Street,
New York City.
Dear Sir:-
I this morning received your letter of 19th instant, in regard to the agreement between Marshall and the Edison Phonograph Works relating to duplicate records, and have noted contents of same.
My letter to the North American Phonograph Company, to which you refer, intimated that I personally would not make any more records at the Laboratory. I did not speak for the Phonograph Works, no record ever having been made there.
I have directed that a copy of your letter be sent to Mr. Insull.
Yours very truly,
Thomas A. Edison
