I beg to confirm telephone message of this date viz: -
 
Please look up in the Directory of the Iron Industries published by Steel & Iron Assn. Philadelphia the addresses of all the Puddling Furnaces around and including Knoxville and Eastward to Norfolk Va;

They are buying Lake Superior high grade ore for fix. Knoxville pays fourteen dollars per ton delivered and then have to grind it up. You might send samples in bottles to each, state prices at Ogden & also ascertain roughly about freight rate. We can get rid of about 50 to 75 tons a day I think.
