Mar. 16, 1892.
W. A. Stern, Esq.,
Bullitt Building,
Philadelphia, Penna.
Dear Sir:-
Your letter of 11th instant in regard to patent No. 346, 388, of July 27th, 1886, which covers the lighting of a train of railway cars by electric incandescent lamps, and which is owned jointly by yourself and Mr. Edison, was duly received and perused by the [butler?]. Mr. Edison notes what you say with relation to the general infringement of said patent and your suggestion that something should be done to put a stop to it. He, however does not desire to spend any money for that purpose.
Yours very truly,
A. O. Tate
Private Secretary.
