March 21, 1892.
John J. Kiernan, Esq.,
No. 36 Broad Street,
New York City.
My dear Kiernan.-
I have your letter of 19th instant, enclosing description of the Brewer Mine. It would be impossible for me to visit the property just now, but I may be able to do so later. I have personally examined over 200 Southern mining properties and am pretty well acquainted with the Brewer Mine already. Perhaps your people would like to lease the mine to me on a guaranteed interest on present capital, permitting me to work it in my own way?
Yours very truly,
Thomas Maguire
