March 29, 1892.
Dr. J. Mount Bleyer,
No. 118 East 15th Street,
New York City.
Dear Sir:-
Owing to the absence of our photographer I regret to say that we have been unable to get out for you the pictures of the phonograph referred to in my letters of 19th instant. Under these circumstances I have thought it best to send to you to-day by express four photographs which he had in the office. These are not in very good condition, but if you simply require them for the purpose of having electrotypes made they may answer your purposes. It was copies of these same pictures that Mr. Edison intended to have printed for you. If they would do a week hence we could furnish them to you by that time, as our photographer will then be back. Please let me hear from you on this point, and oblige
Yours truly
