Dear Sir:-
Re Interference between Edison, Chinnock and Wheeler for inserting an Ampere Meter on the lead where dynamos are used in Multiple Arc. Mr. Edison has read your letter of 5th instant and noted contents of same. In regard to examining him as a witness next week for the purpose of identifying note book etc., at present time his movements are so uncertain he is unable to make an appointment. He suggests that you ascertain by telephone any day next week whether he is at the Laboratory, and should be made you rung up, he will be very pleased to have Mr. Driscoll come out and conduct the examination.
Yours truly,
A.O. Tate
Private Secretary.
