Dear Sir:-
Referring again to your letter of 16th ultimo, asking how many Edison Unipolar and Edison-Dickson machines are in use, which information you desire in connection with the statement you are preparing on the condition of iron concentration, I beg to inform you that there are six of the Edison Unipolar and twenty of the Edison-Dickson machines now in operation, all of which are located at Ogdenn, N.J.
I return herewith the card which accompanied your letter above referred to, duly filled out, and that will give you the date when you desire for incorporation in the Mineral Statistics of the U.S. ecological Survey, which you are now engaged in compiling.
Yours truly,
A.O. Tate
Private Secretary.
