May 13, 1892. Mr. J.K. Seaver, Malone, N.Y. Dear Sir:- Reply to your inquiry of 5th instant addressed to Mr. Edison, relative to duplicate musical records for the phonograph, has been unavoidably delayed. The Edison Phonograph Works, of Orange, N.J., make duplicate records. These duplicates are the equals in every respect of the originals from which they are made. They are vastly superior to the majority of original records on the market, and as good as the best of the latter. Yours truly, A.O. Tate Private Secretary.
