May 16, 1892.
Major S.B. Eaton,
Edison Building, Broad St.,
New York City.
Dear Sir:-
In regard to the annual meeting of the stockholders of the Edison Phonograph Works, I beg to say that we did not wish to hold this meeting until after the settlement of the North American Phonograph Co. has been affected. As soon as we have settled upon the method of adjusting certain entries upon the books of the Phonograph Works we will be ready to call the stockholders together and we will have all these various transactions approved by then. I will furnish you with copies of certain entries later on and get you to kindly put the resolutions in proper form. Will you please notify me when you are through with your work on the Feeder case?
Yours truly,
Major S.B. Eaton,
