New York City,
Dear Sirs:-
Your letter of 21st instant relative to bonds to be issued by the General Electric Company to holders of Edison stock, has been received by Mr. Edison, who notes that in the[illegible] of his not wanting to subscribe for the Proportion of said comes to which he is entitled, and desiring to sell his rights so to do, that you might possibly be able to use them. If you are desirous of acquiring Mr. Edison’s rights in this matter, he would like you to make him an offer for the same and elicits the favor of an early reply.
