Mr. Samuel Edison,
Ft. Gratiot, Michigan
Dear Mr. Edison,-
By direction of your son I send to you the enclosed correspondence in regard to a steam yacht that in for sale. It was received from J.E. Marden, who states that he is in your service.
Mr. Edison would advise you not to buy a steam yacht. He says to do so would be a great mistake and you would be sure to regret it. They cause a great deal more trouble that they are worth.
With best wishes believe me
Yours very truly,
A.O. Tate
