Mr. Edison has read your note of 8th instant, informing him that Mr. Betts had fully met your views relative to his bill in the Trenton Feeder Case, and he is much obliged to you for the same. He considers the sum which Mr. Betts has agreed to accept reasonable and is glad that the matter has been settled satisfactorily.
