February 23, 1893.
Oscar K. Davis, Esq.,
Editor's Office of the Sun,
New York.
Dear Sir:-
With reference to your letter to Mr. Edison of 14th instant, a reply to which has been unavoidably delayed owing to his absence, it is expected that the model of the Kinetograph will be ready for inspection in about a month. Mr. Edison's assistant who has charge of the experiments in connection with the Kinetograph, was taken suddenly ill a short time ago and this has delayed matters somewhat. I will inform you when the instrument is in operation, and you can then go out to the Laboratory and see it.
Yours very truly,
AO Tate
Private Secretary
