My dear Mr. Bowker,-
Your letter of 4th instant addressed to us at Orange, has been forwarded to me here, and I take pleasure in sending to you herewith a letter of introduction from Mr. Edison to the Superintendent of the Ogden Mine. Upon presentation of this letter, any representative of "Harper's Magazine" will be permitted to make a drawing of the Separator, as desired. Mr. Edison was very pleased to comply with your request.
