April 6, 1893 H. E. Dick, Esq., #4142 Lake Ave. Chicago, Ills. Dear Sir:- Mr. Lewis Miller, of Akron, Oh. has forwarded to Mr. Edison a letter which he received from you in regard to house in Chicago. Mr. Edison directs me to say that he will arrange with you about the house when you visit New York. Should he rent it he will do so jointly with Mr. Miller. Mr. Edison would prefer to rent the house for the months of August and September, but he has to consult Mr. Miller in the matter and cannot decide definitely until he hears from him. He has written Mr. Miller upon the subject by to-day's mail. Mr. Edison would like to know what months would suit you best during which to rent the home. Would August and September be just as convenient for you as July and August? Please advise him upon this point, and oblige. Yours very truly, AO Tate Private Secretary M
