New York, April 7, 1893.
J. W. Gladstone, Esq., Manager,
Edison Manufacturing Company,
#110 East 23rd St., New York City.
Dear Sir:-
I enclose herewith correspondence from Mr. George Munro of the Edison United Phonograph Co., and Sir John Pender, London, in regard to renewal material for the latter's phonograph battery.
Please send forward immediately to Sir John, supplies for recharging five "T" cells, and notify him when the shipment is made.
Inasmuch as the London agents of the General Electric Company are evidently willing and desire to sell our batteries, I cannot understand why they are not supplied with them. Have you any requisitions from these people unfilled?
Yours truly,
AO Tate
Gen'l. Manager.
