Sept. 15th, 1893.
John B. Verity, Esq.,
31 King St., Covent Garden,
London, W. C., Eng.
My dear Mr. Verity:--
I am very much indebted for your letter of 31st ult., in regard to the "B" shares of the Edison-Swan Company. The facts as you state are as I supposed. If at any time in the future you should hear of a quotation on these shares, or any one desirous of purchasing them, I will be glad if you will kindly cable me; I have about nine thousand that I would sell.
With kind regards from Mrs. Edison and myself, I am,
Yours very truly,
Thomas A. Edison
