My dear Mr. Edison,-
Referring to the attached letters from Gladstone, in regard to the Kennelly Static Voltmeter: Shall I go ahead and have a sample instrument completed? It would cost us very little to get out an order for a hundred, and it would not be necessary for us to complete this order until after Gladstone had shown the sample and received some orders for instruments
