Oct. 12th, 1893.
Messrs. Dyer & Seely,
36 Wall Street,
New York.
Dear Sirs:--
Mr. Edison has received your letter of 9th inst. in regard to the 7th annuities on his English and French patents, set 67, electric railways (converter system) which become due November 14th and 19th respectively. In reply Mr. Edison says that the General Electric Company can have these patents if they will pay back to him the bare original cost of the same. He wishes you to see Mr. Fish in regard to the matter, and to let him know what he says about it. Mr. Edison says further that there is a future in this line but he is out of it.
Yours very truly,
AO Tate
Private Secretary.
