November 14th, 1893.
J. W. Gladstone, Esq., Manager.
Edison Manufacturing Co.,
110 E. 23rd St., New York.
Dear Sir:--
I return herewith the plan of settlement proposed by the Ansonia Electric Company for the liquidation of their liabilities, which accompanied your letter to me of 10th inst. Please take this to Mr. Edison and explain the circumstances to him. The Edison Manufacturing Company is not a corporation and the document should be signed by Mr. Edison personally. You might say to Mr. Edison in connection with this matter that the very best thing we can do is to accept the plan of settlement proposed, that being the only way in which to get our money.
Yours very truly,
AO. Tate
