Nov. 15th, 1893. M. H. de Young, Esq., Director-General, California Midwinter International Exposition, Chicago, Ill. Dear Sir:-- Mr. Edison has received your esteemed communication of 6th inst. informing him of his appointment as a member of the Honorary Commission on the part of the United States to the California Midwinter International Exposition.
