Mch. 2nd, 1894.
Wm. Ogden Wheeler, Esq.
Morristown, N. J.
My dear Sir:-
Your letter of 15th ult. was duly received by Mr. Edison, but reply to same has been unavoidably delayed. The copy of the pamphlet to which you refer, containing a list of the marriages, baptisms, etc. at the Church at Hanover, N. J., was received by Mr. Edison, and he was under the impression that he had acknowledged its receipt. From what you state in your letter, however, he must have over-looked it. He appreciates very highly your kindness in sending him this pamphlet and it is now in his library together with other family records.
Yours very truly,
A.O. Tate
Private Secretary.
