Dec 29th 1896 I hereby agree to sell to Stephen F. Moriarty Two thousand five hundred shares of Stock of the Edison United Phonograph Company of New York for the sum of Twenty five thousand dollars cash, if the same shall be paid to me on or before the first day of February Eighteen hundred and ninety seven. Otherwise this Option shall be void. In addition if the said money is paid I will agree to abrogate all contracts and return to the United Phonograph Company the rights of Manufacturing in Europe now held by the Phonograph Works.
