June 20th 94 Dr H. Erichsen c/o Detroit Journal Detroit Mich. Dear Sir:- In reply to your favor of the 6th inst I beg to state that the difference is that the record of the motion is [pure?], no intermitting as in the old Zeotrope [Zoetrope] as well as Muybridge and Anscheutz [Anschütz].
