Richard N. Dyar [Dyer], Esq.
Messrs. Dyar & Seeley [Dyer & Seely]
36 Wall st., N. Y.,
Dear sir:-
Will you kindly have made out for me, a list of the applications for Phonograph inventions, with the date of filing, and if patents were issued, the number and date of issue, particularly stating who has the title to such patents. It has always been my understanding that the old Edison Phonograph Co. had the title to these patents. If the North American Phonograph Co. has any title on record on any Phonograph patents, will you kindly specify each particular one.
I shall be very glad to hear from you regarding this matter at your earliest convenience, as it is of considerable importance to me.
Yours very truly,
[Thomas. A. Edison?]
