Sept. 18, 1894. Col. Geo. E. Gouraud, #3 Whitehall Court, S. W., London, England, My dear sir:- I have received a letter from Messrs. Drexel, Morgan & Co., in which they state that should you decide to do anything towards forcing a settlement on the “B” shares of the Edison-Swan United Company stock, which you hold, they will be very glad to co-operate with you in connection with same. I understand that they have written you regarding this matter direct, and I shall be very glad to know what is proposed to be done in the matter.
