To me “Parties here want to buy some or all your machines will receive you at cost whole thing. Answer. “ Edison 28 Aug. 1894., To you “Will cancel everything on you personally repaying all I have paid you and releasing balance deposited Morgans cable reply.” Gouraud. 30 Aug. 1894. To me “ Offer accepted“. Edison. 31 Aug. 1894. To you “Pay amount repayable and write them freeing balance deposited”. Gouraud. I presume that ere this reaches you, you will have paid to my credit at Drexel, Morgan & Co. the amount I have paid upon you on account of the Kinetoscopes, and notified them that the balance of the $10.000. deposited by me with them under the terms of your letter of 29th. June last, is subject to my order, (Signed ) G. E. Gouraud.
