Nov. 14, 1894. T. C. Martin, Esq., c/o Electrical Engineer, #203 Broadway, N. Y., Dear Mr. Martin:- I have your letter of the 9th, and return you herewith the circular issued by the American Graphophone Co. I believe they have gotten out a number of these circulars, which [illegible overstruck word] have been generally distributed to users of the Phonograph. This is all “Bluff” on the part of the Graphophone Co., and I have already taken measures to off-set, not only this communication, but to meet any suits that they may inaugurate, with the object of in any way interfering with users or probable purchasers of my Phonograph. This statement is made on the detailed patent only. Yours very truly, Thos A Edison
