January 21st. 1895 Messrs Seligman and Seligman 15 Broad Street New York. Dear Sirs:- Yours of the 16th inst. received. Messrs Dyer and Seely are defending the Phonograph Works against the suit brought by the Graphophone Company on graphophone patents. I have no knowledge of their having assisted Mr Hough or furnished him with any information. The details of the litigation are in their hands, and whatever they have done in the matter to which you refer, was without consultation with me. Yours very truly Thos A Edison
