Yours of the [illegible date] received. I had already told Dyer and Seely to have nothing to do with the parties mentioned. Hough is the Pirate who is infringing and making bogus Kinetoscopes in Europe. I have received word that the Phonograph Patents have been declared [illegible text] in France for failure to comply with the law [illegible text] you [illegible text] it for if it is true it is rather rough on [illegible text]
