Orange N.J. Aug 19th 1895
Saml Insull Esq
Chicago. Ill.
Dear Sir:-
I beg to acknowledge receipt of your favor of the 9th inst enclosing certificates of the Bates Mfg Coy in the names of the Edison Phonograph Works William E. Gilmore and John F. Randolph.
As Mr Gilmore has some stock in his name does not this qualify him as Trustee and President or do you think we should call another meeting and have him elected.
At the last meeting Mr Gilmore was elected President and Trustee as soon as he could qualify and the only thing that prevented him from doing so was that he had no stock in his name.
Yours truly
J. F. Randolph
