Sept 26th 1895 Mrs John Burke Orange N. J Madam:- I beg to advise you that I have sent a man to your house and your line is in the best possible condition that it can be put in with the fixtures which you have at your house. The Lamp Sockets are the old style sockets and are in bad condition these sockets are now condemned by the Insurance Company and they order sockets put in which have porcelain insides. I also beg to call you attention to the fact that there is one porcelain Cut Out which is broken and should be replaced and which can be obtained from the General Electric Coy 44 Broad Street New York. When you was at the Laboratory Mr Randolph informed you that the lights ran [illegible text] one oclock each night which had been changed until twelve oclock and which he was not aware of. John F. Ott Supt
