Dear Sir: -
I am in receipt of your favor of the 26th. December, and in reply thereto would say that it is very difficult to say what the future of electricity will be. It has become an important factor for power purposes, heating and lighting, as also in chemical decomposition, having infinite flexibility. It is being made cheaper every year, and you of course know what that means to industrial progress.
Yours very truly,
[Thos A Edison?]
